The setting you are in while watching a movie and on what you are watching it is just as important as the movie itself. for example a movie can be good, but the environment you are in while watching it can ruin the whole thing .
So what is The Ultimate way to watch a movie? or should I say to experience the movies:
At home or in theater?
At home:
In my opinion, the best way to watch a movie is at the comfort and the privacy of your own home where you can get cozy in your pajamas with close loved ones where you can laugh or cry and talk as loud as you want to, and enjoy the movie to the fullest. Personally, I like to pause when I want, you can also eat whatever you want without paying for those overpriced snacks.
Watching a film on a laptop in my opinion is the best way to proceed it adds the mobility aspect so you can move and change your location around to fit your comfiest position. It gives you the opportunity to step outside to your balcony and enjoy a film while staying warm using a blanket.
The down side is the fact that you can't watch new releases at home instead you have to wait until they come out on DVD and there is the disadvantage of watching a movie through the small screen with low volume.
At the Theater:
There is a big variety of types of theaters available :conventional theaters, IMAX and drive in’s. Nothing can top the large screen experience, the darkness that surrounds you and the background sound makes you think that you are at the center of the action happening in there. you have a chance to view the movie on the release date.
When you watch a movie in a theater you have the advantage of not having to deal with commercials because they come on at the beginning of the movie. another advantage is that movies that are tense, scary, or deeply emotional can cast much more of a spell over you when you don’t have the option to pause or turn away.
But you always have the risk of someone ruining your experience very quickly. These include giggling behind you, people who use their phone, people who kick the back of your seat, popcorn-shrapnel .
